The main and some optional quests lead to the islands where pets can be tamed. Different pets have different skills. Also on this window you can see the pet’s stats, skills and of course how many pets can one character have plus summon and delete buttons. - Mount – As same as with the pets, the character gains mounts while doing the main questline. Here the player can find the mount’s stats, feeding and upgrading the mount buttons. - Wings – Via the questline, the character also obtains pair of wings which improve the character stats. Also they can be upgraded by using materials that can be obtained by killing dungeon bosses or by purchasing those materials in the general shop/ - Inventory – Classic inventory bag. Here the players can find surprise gifts, depending on the level, and gather the drops from killing enemies. Also the player may notice the currency tab and the private shop tab. - Skills – The two skill trees. After every two levels, a player is given a skill point to be spent at his choosing. Active skills can be placed on the hotbar slots in the lower middle of the screen - AFK Mode – This may be one of the best features in the game. Daily a player gains one hour of AFK time which can be used for leveling. Just set up the parameters for potions usage, the loot and the character is ready to do the job on its own. - Quest – Here the player can have a look at the current and available quests along with their description. - Friends – Get to know the other players and make your friend list in here. - Party – A player can create or join party for variety of the events which require more than one character to be completed. - Guild – Of course the best social place is the Guild. Join or create a guild. This will allow the player to enjoy the benefit of guild perks gained by guild contribution aka. guild quests. Also on the UI, there are the character avatar with health and mana plus pet’s health and mana, some room for party avatars, the minimap with daily dragon hunt, events, rankings, daily rewards, world and current map buttons. Besides, there is room for anyone to spend real money in purchasing items which would make the gameplay slightly easier. AI is simple to understand. Mobs are not aggressive in the early levels, but as progression goes, most become in the higher levels. The navigation is easy by clicking the quest links, or the links given on the map tab. It is up to every player to decide his role in the game, either PvE or PvP. As for the PVP, the game has many PvP events for the players to test their skills or simple world PvP or PK. Overall Crystal Saga will provide any player with countless hours of PvE and PvP gameplay. One must take a good look at the dungeons and arenas and of course have a great time with their guild. It pays to take notice of this as you dont want to pick a character that does not suit to your specific playing style. If youre more of a long ranged expert you can choose the woman with the sniper rifle. Alternatively, you can choose to be the big man who carries the heavy duty guns. In either case, if youve ever played a FPS game before, choose the right weapon that will suit your needs. Before you head off into the battlefield to take on other players, theres the option to go through the games tutorial mode. It is here you can familiarize yourself with Combat Arm’s controls. Many FPS veterans may not have to do the tutorial mode as the controls are easy to learn. Still, if youre a novice at the genre, getting some target practice will help you in a big way. Once all the introductions and tutorials are over, you can jump straight into a match. There are multiple servers to choose from and there are always people playing Combat Arms so you wont have to worry about not finding enough players to join in your game. The default play mode is your typical team deathmatch. It is here where your objective is to kill as many people on the opposing team as possible. A disadvantage for rookie Combat Arms players is that you’re mixed with veteran players who already have access to more powerful weapons. It can be a frustrating but Combat Arms make sure to even the teams up to make things fair. A good thing about this mode is that you can steal the enemies weapons once you (or a teammate) have killed them. This in turn allows you to wield a more powerful gun than the default one you are left with when you start playing the game from the beginning. However, if you die, you will respawn with the same weak weapon you had before. It pays to stay alive for as long as possible. The second playing mode I participated in was a special zombie mode. This will see one player starting the game off as a zombie and trying to infect all the other players. There are many rounds to this mode and the eventual winner is the person who was last to get infected. I loved playing this mode as it was more about survival than just mindlessly killing people all the time. Another great thing about Combat Arms is the rewards you can get for leveling up. You can choose to customize the appearance of your chosen character or add attachments to your guns. It is worthwhile playing the game for a few hours just to experience all the good stuff you will be able to unlock. The more time you invest in playing Combat Arms, the more fun it will become. One thing I disliked about Combat Arms is that the game takes a long time to load. Before I even started playing my first match I was seeing the loading screen for what seemed like a good 3 minutes or so. If youre not willing to wait that long, then I suggest you play another game as loading times can be a pain. Combat Arms is one of the most robust free to play games Ive played all year. The gameplay is similar to that of Call of Dutys multiplayer mode. There are a number of weapons to choose from and its popularity will guarantee you that there are always people there for to play with. Graphically, its horribly outdated although this should not stop you from playing Combat Arms. Combat Arms is certainly a blast to play and I’m certain may FPS fans wont argue with that statement.

Being that this game is developed by an Asian game developer, the visuals are heavily inspired by Japanese style cartoon animes. In terms of the appearance of the game, its in 2D and resembles that of the Xbox 360 s Tales of Vesperia which was released back in 2008. I really admire the 2D cartoon appearance of Eden Eternal a lot. Most other MMORPG games are in 3D so its a nice surprise to that this game breaks from the normal 3D presentation that has been implemented in the genre. As always, you start off by creating the main character that you will be controlling in the game. Players who want to create a big masculine warrior will be disappointed as theres no option for you to do that in Eden Eternal. The only types of characters you can create are traditional Japanese style characters who are usually young kids with big eyes. Once you have created your character, you can start entering the world of Eden Eternal. The great thing about the game is its presentation. Unlike with Allods Online, theres actually a nice introductory cutscene for you to view so you can familiarize yourself with the games story. You play a character that is trapped inside a blue crystal with no memory before you were found. As you progress further into the game, you will have to find clues on what happened to you and in the surrounding areas that populates the world in Eden Eternal. You also have to find out why you have mysterious magic powers as well. Like most other MMORPG games, the bulk of gameplay mainly sees you completing quests for NPCs that can be found around the many towns that populate the world in Eden Eternal. Most of the quests involve you defeating monsters of some sort. Not that this is a bad thing as combat is surprisingly additive here in Eden Eternal. Unlike with Allods Onlline, you can choose to auto attack in Eden Eternal. This means once you have highlighted a specific enemy you want to defeat, your character will automatically attack them. Theres no tedious requirement for you to keep bashing the mouse button all the time like in Allods Online. What is also great about the game is that you can perform both physical and magical attacks. Again this is a great feature as in most MMORPG games, you can only use one or the other. Although as aforementioned this game is in 2D, this doesnt mean you will dont need a pretty good computer in order for the game to run smoothly. Its recommended requirements is that you have 1GB RAM or more available on your computer. If you dont meet this requirement and would really like to play this game, its about time to upgrade your computer as a result of this. Eden Eternal is a high quality MMORPG that is completely free toplay and download. The graphics are very impressive and the gameplay is simple enough for anybody to follow. All in all, this game is a lot of fun to play, just make sure your computer is powerful enough to play it before you decide to download it.
