Mabinogi
Mabinogi Mabinogi is a free-to-play MMORPG game made in South Korea. The game was originally released back in Korea In 2004. Its popularity grew in number ever since then as its user base increased into other countries in Asia in 2005. It wasn t until 2008 that Mabinogi made its way into North America before being released in Europe in 2010. Mabinogi proved popular enough that Nexon ,the games publishe wanted to release the game on the Xbox 360. Unfortunately, the game never was released even though production of the Xbox 360 version of Mabinogi was reportedly finished. The only way to play Mabinogi is via the PC. Not that this is too much of a bad thing considering the game is free-to-play on the PC. If it was released on the Xbox 360, gamers would have needed to play for the game and their Xbox Live subscriptions on top of this… In terms of creating characters in Mabinogi, you can only create one character at one time. This is unlike other MMORPG games where you have the option to create more than one character. If you want to create more, you will have to play money in order to do so. There are three races for you to create at the start of the game. You can choose to be a male or female and whether they are going to be human, elf or even a giant. Once you have created your onscreen avatar, you are then ready to enter the wonderful world of Mabinogi. The game starts off with a beautiful introductory cut scene. You get to see the bright and colorful graphics that Mabinogi has to offer. The entire game world is rendered in full 3D but the character models are illustrated in traditional Japanese anime-style 2D. If gamers have ever played Namco Bandais Eternal Sonata on the Xbox 360 and PS3, you will know the type of visuals that are on offer in Mabinogi. Despite the game having a lovely soundtrack, great sound effects and striking visuals, the only thing missing are voice actors. Most MMORPG games dont have any voice overs and this is to be expected, however its slightly disappointing considering another MMORPG game called Wizard 101 has a ton of quality voice acting work. Unlike in Wizard 101, combat is done in real-time. All you have to do is click on top of an enemy using the mouse and your character will instantly hack away. Combat is varied as enemies will only attack you depending on their behavior. Some of them are really aggressive and attack you the moment they see you while others will ignore you unless you provoke them first. This gave the game a sense of realism just like in the real-life animal kingdom – not all of them are going to attack humans. There are so many things that you can do in Mabinogi its almost mind-blowing. Although most gamers will follow the main quests, there are a number of side-quests and part-time jobs that you can participate in. You can do minor things such as fishing or even harvesting wool just to name a few. Much like in other MMOPRG games, you will have to play for services that offer you bonus content. Its not a necessity to pay for these items, but they can help you in the long run. Only pay for these items if you think you’re going to invest a lot of hours into Mabinogi. It will be a waste of money if you’re only a casual fan and is going to only play the game once a week. Mabinogi is a high-quality MMORPG game that offers hours of fun and will cost you absolutely nothing in order to play it. The games visuals are great and the amounts of quests that are available are simply mind blowing. Even if you’re not a fan of MMORPG games, it shouldnt hurt you to give Mabinogi a go. Second Generation MMORPG, Mabinogi, is free to play and free to download.Join the game that has captivated millions of gamers throughout the world today.

Operation Gamma 41
Operation Gamma 41 Operation Gamma 41 is a typical RTS game set in World War II. Much like most other games from that particular genre, there are more things you have to do first before you can head off into battle. Unlike the fast-paced type of gameplay seen in FPS games, games like Operation Gamma 41 require more patience and thinking if you want to come out on top. As always, you’re prompted to listen and view the tutorial. It is here that you will realize that building your city is just as important as battling enemy troops. One of the crucial aspects of the entire game is making enough citizens to run your city. With enough citizens, you will have enough workers to produce the resources necessary to build up your army to defeat your enemies. Citizens can also be recruited to be trained soldiers so it pays to keep track of your housing in the game. One of the other things that all Operation Gamma 41 players should keep an eye on is the quest button. It can sometimes be annoying if a game never reminds you what to do next, but Operation Gamma 41 is not that type of game. There’s the handy “quest” button at the bottom of your screen that is a constant reminder of what is required to do next to progress further into the game. There will be no excuses for players not to wonder what to do next. If you are ever in doubt, there’s always the handy chat feature situated at the bottom left hand corner of the screen. People playing are the game are really helpful and are always willing and able to give new players any advice. The game is quite popular so there’s always at least someone there for you to answer any of your burning questions. The one thing that will stop people from playing this game is the amount of time it takes to do things. In order to enlist new citizens, you will have to wait at least 5 minutes. Not only that but upgrading the buildings in the city can be time consuming as well. This isn’t really a flaw in the game; it’s just an observation from the RTS genre in general. Gamers that want action all the time won’t like all the needless waiting that is required to get there. Graphically, Operation 41 resembles that of a World War II version of Age of Empires. The 3D rendered buildings look realistic although infantry and vehicles are rather too small for my liking. Although the world and city that you will be exploring is nicely animated. Once you enter the world, you can choose to fight or align with any of your fellow Operation Gamma 41 players. It’s this level of freedom that separates the online RTS genre from linear-based gameplay seen in most modern video games today. There’s a story line based mode that players can participate it as well. Although there are only 5 missions to do in all, it’s nice to know the developer had the time to write and develop a story. Most free-to-play online games don’t feature any kind of story whatsoever. If you’re a fan of RTS games, you can expect the same style of gameplay will await you in Operation Gamma 41. The game doesn’t break any new grounds but this should not deter you from playing the game. The references to World War II are nice as are the visuals in this game. Just don’t expect to witness anything new from this game.

The world of Luvinia is a politically conflicted one, where two alliances clash. This might seem a bit familiar to other games out there, such as Last Dyansty, and thats because it is. Luvinia most definitely does bring anything new to the table, and this is most likely why it might not appeal to everyone; there is simply quite a few games out there that are practically the same gameplay, but with a different coat of paint. That`s not to say that Luvinia doesnt have its good points. Its class tree, for one, is quite extensive, and its flashy graphics will most definitely appeal to some.
