The presentation of the game reminds me a lot of Naruto since both games involve heavy hand-to-hand fighting style of gameplay. Not to mention it has cool 2D cartoon-style graphics which makes it look like a real-life anime. Even though it has a cartoon look, the actual game itself is 3D so your character can walk around more than just left to right.

The first thing you will have to do in Lost Saga is of course choose who you want to play as. There are many hero types you can play as which is really great if you’re the type that is picky. The game boasts there are over 100 fictional characters in the game that are based on various pop culture and even real-life characters. This includes ninjas, cowboys and even a boxer. Whatever you want to play as, it’s your choice.

The best thing about this game is probably its controls and fast-paced combat style. Lost Saga is not your typical MMORPG where you just click the mouse button and your character just automatically hacks away. In Lost Saga, the player has full control over the characters and the way that they fight. It’s like playing a platform or hack-n-slash game on a home console. Not to mention the controls are easy to master and you’ll be fighting like crazy in no time.

In Lost Saga , you control your characters using the arrow keys on your keyboard. They can move around in a 3D plane so there aren’t really many restrictions in moving around in this game. The attack buttons are just mapped using the “A”, “S” and “D” keys. “A” is used to jump or pick up items; “S” is used to defend while you press “D” to attack. It is simple to remember and very effective.

The unique thing about Lost Saga that separates it from most other games is that you can change who you want to play as while you are fighting. In most free to play games I’ve played over the years, you are just stuck playing with the same character for the rest of the entire game. In this game however, you can swap to become another character just by simply pressing the number keys. You can even bust out a cool looking combo by being two characters at once. I have not seen this level of awesomeness in a video game in a long time. To add another layer of cool features to the game, you can even take your own screenshots and record gameplay too.

If you’ve played Lost Saga a few years ago, you might consider returning because loads of new features have been added since the game first launched. This includes loads more character, special skills and areas for you to fight and more. If you were bored of the game the first time, you may want to revisit again because loads of things have changed since then.

Lost Saga’s gameplay is pretty much a brawling style which would appeal to gamers that love a lot of action. If you prefer more strategic combat, you might want to play another type of game because brawling is the majority of what you will be doing in Lost Saga. The fights can get chaotic especially when you need to defeat multiple enemies all at the same time. It’s still a fun experience and you level up more quickly than in other free to play games.

Overall, Lost Saga is of a genre on its own and it’s very fun to play. It’s not as boring as other MMORPGs sometimes are, and it’s also got one of the most enjoyable combat systems I have ever played in a while. It may not appeal to some gamers but for me, Lost Saga was great. If you love fighting games and a lot of action, you will love this game dearly. I know I did when I played it.
