Rakshasa Game Review

Rakshasa is another free to play anime fantasy MMORPG game that is available for gamers to play on a computer or laptop. The game is browser based which means you can play the game via your web browser so you don’t have to worry about downloading any of the game data beforehand. That being said, you will need to update your flash player on your web browser to play this game. If not, the game will fail to show anything on the screen. If you just type in the name of the game without the letters MMO attached, you will be referred to something else that is totally unrelated to video games whatsoever. Anyway, if you manage to finally find the game, you will be greeted with the character selection screen. There are four characters to select and they include Chiba Eternity, Galeblade, Manaflame and Frostbiter. You cannot alter the character’s appearance at all so you’re just stuck with the default designs. This isn’t too bad since the anime character models look great.

Rakshasa Gameplay

What I like most about Rakshasa is its high production values. It’s one of the few free to play video games out there with full voice acting and cutscenes. It brings the game to life and makes it feel more authentic. Sure some of the dialogue scenes may drag out, but I admire the extra incentive to tell an intriguing story to this game. There’s more to this game than the usual fetch quests that are often included in MMORPGs. The 2D style anime graphics look great and it runs pretty smoothly for most of the time. Sure the frame rate sometimes slows down when there are lots of characters on the screen, but overall I did not have too many technical problems while I was playing this game.

In terms of gameplay, this is a traditional MMORPG where you can do lots of quests to level up your characters and also do PvP with other human players that are online. Whatever style of gameplay you choose, there’s lots for you to see and do in Rakshasa.

Rakshasa Final Verdict

The game like others anime dating games feature old school style of turn-based combat that is both responsive and very fun to play through. You have lots of members in your party and the gameplay gets more challenging as you progress. I never got bored during combat as battles are usually fast and very exciting.

Overall, Rakshasa is a very fun and enjoyable MMORPG that is going to appeal to a large audience. It’s easy to play and the controls are simple enough for any gamer to follow. Play the game now if you’re a fan of anime style MMORPGs!
