Rise of Angels Review

If you are able to play this game smoothly unlike me, well kudos to you. I just felt this browser based game was hard for me to play as I was constantly bombarded with loading screens all of the time. I was only able to play this game for a couple of times as it was too much for me to bear playing it all of the time. Anyway, you start off playing Rise of Angels by choosing the character type and class you want to play as. At the start, you only have the chance to play as either a male or female character and three class types. The three class types included in the game are a Warrior, a Mage and an Archer. There does not seem to be anymore class types that you can unlock later on in the game so choose wisely. A Warrior is good with close-ranged combat while an Archer is an expert at long distance combat. As for a Mage, you will want to choose this class type if you are into casting magic spells and things like that.

Rise of Angels Gameplay

Sadly, Rise of Angels does not allow you to customize the appearance of your character so you are just stuck with the default blonde people designs. This isn’t too much of an issue, although some character customization would have been better if you were able to change their looks. The only character customization you can do happens much later in the game where you change your player’s costumes, wings and even their mount. You can also change up their skills and abilities to deal more damage later on in the game too. Rise of Angels’ gameplay is nothing unique though because it’s the usual style of MMORPG where everything is done automatically for you. Combat, exploration and everything else you do can be played in auto-pilot mode meaning you don’t really need to control your character at all times. You can basically press one or two buttons and the game does everything for you!

The combat and PvP is pretty standard as your character pretty much just hacks and slashes any enemies that they see. It’s not very fun and engaging, although it’s accessible and easy to play if you are into that sort of thing. Graphically, Rise of Angels is far from the best looking game on the free to play market. The 3D graphics are simplistic looking and the user interface is annoying. When I played the game, the frame rate was really poor and some characters and items failed to load up sometimes as well!
