Divine Storm Game Review
Before you start playing Divine Storm as others rpg games free online, you get a chance to choose which main character that you want to play as. At the start of the game you have three class choices. The classes include a Warrior, a Mage and also a Ranger. The Warrior caters to close quarters combat while a Ranger is good from afar. As for the Mage, this character type can conjure up helpful magic tricks and skills. Sadly, you don’t get a chance to customize the appearance for the characters in Divine Storm. You only choose the preset male and female characters that are made for you. It’s not a huge loss that you cannot alter the physical appearance, but it would have been nicer if players were given the option to change their character’s look.
Divine Storm Gameplay
After you get a chance to choose your character, then you can start playing the main part of Divine Storm. Much like lots of other free to play video games out there, Divine Storm is one of those RPGs that you can fully play on auto-pilot. You may not even need to click anything and you will start completing quests that are presented in front of you. I don’t have a problem with games that have the automated mechanic on, but I am getting tired of playing them all of the time. They all feel the same and the gameplay doesn’t feel fun and fulfilling if everything is done for the player. I prefer games where you can control every step of your character’s actions – whether it be for combat and/or exploration.
You do have the chance to play this game manually, but the automated mechanic makes it easier and less frustrating for you to play. The only major downside to this game is that it’s a pay-to-win type of video game. If you don’t pour in lots of your own money in the game, you’re not going to get very far. However, the pay-to-win mechanics and automated style of gameplay isn’t the worst part about Divine Storm. The biggest flaw I encountered with the game thus far has been the graphics and the horribly cluttered HUD and UI.
The top down graphics fail to load sometimes and there were moments in the game where my character was just walking on thin air. Lag is a huge issue because the game’s textures usually fail to load up on time making this game hard to play and appreciate. It was actually hard for me to capture footage for this game because Divine Storm runs so poorly. Eventually I managed to play the game without too many technical issues, although the actual graphics aren’t that great to look at. The game just looks like any other free to play MMORPG out there.
Final Verdict for Divine Storm
Anyway, Divine Storm is a very average free online rpg game. It’s hard to recommend playing this game because there are far better MMORPGs out there for you to play. Only consider playing this game if you’re feeling lazy because the automated gameplay style means you don’t have to do anything to play it!
