Core Blaze Game Review

Core Blaze is an upcoming 3D MMORPG game. No release date has been set for the game as of yet, although looking at the gameplay so far, it’s looking like it’s going to be one of the most high-tech and most ambitious free-to-play MMORPG games to date. The game was due to be out sometime in 2011.

We are now in 2012and there is still no official release date for the game. This isn’t anything new since some game developers take their time making video games to avoid releasing the game too early. Ubisoft delayed the release of Splinter Cell: Conviction for four years since early gameplay footage released did not meet the fans’ high standard for the series.

As a result of this, Splinter Cell: Conviction reinvented itself to become arguably the best of the entire series. Let’s hope with the ling delay, Core Blaze is an awesome game and doesn’t become a long awaited flop like Duke Nukem Forever… One of the main reasons people are so interested in this game is because it’s built using the “Unreal Engine 3”.

This computer game engine has powered many video games over the years including the famous Gears of War series. People who have played the Gears of War game know how realistic and awesome they look visually. Looking and gameplay footage of Core Blaze so far, it appears as if the game will share the visual brilliance of the Gears of War games. This is a very good thing mind you. In terms of gameplay, Core Blaze is looking very fun too. As most MMORPG veterans know, most of them offer slow-paced gameplay where all you have to do is point and click on your enemies. This isn’t the case with Core Blaze as the game offers fast-paced combat you would normally encounter in a hack-n-slash game such as Ninja Gaiden and the like.

On the official website, you can view a three minute video of the game where it shows pretty much some of the many gameplay features you can expect to see once the full game is finally released online. Fans of the Monster Hunter series and Dark Souls will love the design and style of gameplay Core Blaze will offer. If you love battling against huge mythical creatures armed with oversized swords and other weapons, than this game will definitely appeal to your taste.  

As you might already expect from a MMORPG game, Core Blaze will offer many different towns and areas you can explore. There’s even a weather and time system implemented to the game to further increase its realism. Some monsters may only appear on specific times of the day or even when it rains. Again, the similarities between Core Blaze and Monster Hunter are uncanny. Since the Monster Hunter games have always been popular in Japan, I’m predicting a lot of Japanese gamers will be looking forward to play Core Blaze.

Core Blaze is shaping up to be one ambitious and intriguing MMORPG game. It may not have cost $200 million to make (like Star Wars” The Old Republic), but it’s still a MMORPG game with very high production values. Be sure to have a lookout for Core Blaze once it’s finally released. It’s free-to-play and you will need 10GB of space left on your hard drive if you intend to play it.
