Hands of War 2 Expanded Edition
Hands of War 2 Expanded Edition Play the extended version of Hands Of War 2, with extra classes and content. Enter the civil war, choose your side and battle your enemies on this epic quest to unite the broken shards of the Heartstone. Hands of War 2 is a free to play RPG game that is played in a classic birds eye view point of view. If anybody has ever played the original Grand Theft Auto games on the PSOne, you will know exactly the kind of viewpoint you will be playing in Hands of War 2. Gamers, who like the traditional gameplay camera viewpoint of being behind the character, will certainly be in for a big shock when they play Hands of War 2. The top down view point isnt bad once you get used to it, however new school gamers might have a harder time adjusting to the awkward camera viewpoint. In the land of Hands of War 2, there are two factions called the Phoenix and the Guardians. Civil War is occurring and between them and at the start of the game, you actually have a choice to join either side. There isnt really anything done at the start of the game to convince you to join either side other than a sign. The Phoenixs sign have Revenge on it while the Guardians have Honor. It doesnt matter too much which side you join as you will just be doing numerous quests which make up the bulk of gameplay in Hands of War 2. Moving around in Hands of War 2 can be a bit of a hassle to do. Although there are some helpful signs with arrows to guide you on your journey, your character seems to walk far too slowly that it kind of gets boring. The game would have benefitted a lot if there was an option so your character could sprint. Getting to one place to another in Hands of War 2 feels like youre controlling an old lady and not a young fit warrior… A feature that might deter some gamers is that theres not an option to save the game anytime that you want. You will have to find rest areas to save the game. Other RPG games save your game automatically even when you have closed down your browser window. Although save points have been a common feature for console RPG games, it would have been useful if saving was done automatically. One thing that is done correctly in Hands of War 2 is that combat is in real time. You will see enemies on the screen and you can attack them at anytime. Combat is easy to do as you have a few skills preset on your keyboard that you can use, or you can hack away with your weapon using the left button on your mouse. Either way, its great to see actual real combat in this title. There are far too many free to play RPG games where combat is either turn based of fully simulated. The A.I. in Hands of War 2 is worth criticizing however. A team of mine was about to ambush the opposition. Once we were in enemy territory, it didnt appear as if they knew we were there to kill them. It was until we attacked them with our swords first did they finally react to our onslaught. Even then, some of the other soldiers in the background failed to realize we were killing their buddies. Although some other enemies in the game can be more smart and chase you the moment they see you. Another great thing about Hands of War 2 is that there is sound and a nice sounding soundtrack to listen throughout the entire game. Most other free to play games dont have any kind of music or sound so its great to see this all included in this game. It breathed more life into the game by having such high quality audio. The only thing is doesnt have are voice actors. This is to be expected since most free games dont have the kind of money to include voice actors into their games. Hands of War 2 doesnt break any new boundaries when it comes to the RPG genre. Old school gamers that loved playing the 80s and 90s Legend of Zelda games will find some enjoyment playing Hands of War 2. For everyone else, the camera view and small character models may deter you from playing the game. Nevertheless, if youre a fan of RPG games in general, it shouldnt hurt to give this game a go. After all, its free to play.

Grepolis Game Review

Grepolis is a free-to-play browser based online game. Your main objective in the entire game is to build up a small town into a huge city. From there you can establish a mammoth army so you can conquer all the other surrounding islands. In other words, it plays like a traditional RTS game. You start off really small before you can venture off onto bigger and better things. As aforementioned, Grepolis is a traditional RTS game. If you’re the type of gamer that loves to see immediate action, you won’t find it here with Grepolis. First-person shooter fans should stay clear of Grepolis as it’s the type of game that requires more than just a few minutes for you to be able to enjoy it. First of all, you will have to do multiple tedious tasks like in most other RTS games of building your city before you can build an army. It’s a time consuming process as you don’t have all the resources available to you from the beginning of the game. This means you have collect resources, recruit workers and then wait for them to construct the building you require. It’s a process that is common in the RTS genre and Grepolis doesn’t really offer an experience different from most other games of that genre. There are numerous other players that occupy the island in Grepolis. Depending on how you’re feeling, you can choose to become allies with them, or you can attack their city in hopes of conquering it. As I mentioned before, players that want immediate action won’t find it here in Grepolis. Beginners are unable to attack other people’s cities as they all under the games “beginner’s protection”. This means you are protected for 7 days before you are able to launch an attack. It’s a feature that’s helpful for you to build you city first, although 7 days is a long time for some players and I’m sure it may deter their enjoyment of Grepolis. Since there are surrounding players, you can call them for support if another player attacks your city and vice versa. You can choose to send out additional troops or resources to aid them anyway you can. There are times certain players may constantly attack you for the resources you might have so it pays for you to build a strong army as well as make friends in Grepolis. The last thing you want is to be beaten because no player in the game wanted to help you out… Although Grepolis is a free-to-play game, you have the option to buy gold (using real money) to get access to some of the benefits non-paying Grepoils don’t have. There are five different “advantages” that you can purchase in Grepolis that will make life in the game much easier for you. Some of benefits you will get include making your army stronger, faster resource production and continued development support. It’s not entirely necessary to purchase these benefits but if you want to be the best Grepolis player in the world, investing some money in the game won’t be such a bad idea. Hours of your free time will need to be invested if you want to get the most out of Grepolis. It will take hours to actually build one city let alone several cities on several islands. Once you’ve been able to establish an army and conquer a few other players’ cities, only then does Grepolis become a fun game. If you’re the impatient type of player, Grepolis will be too time-consuming to interest you.
