Dark Omen is a free to play MMORPG game that you can play online. It’s a browser based video game so you can play the game without having to download any data beforehand. Just make sure your web browsers are updated because you need to have your Flash player up to date before you are able to play the game. It’s worth mentioning if you are interested in playing the game, make sure to type in ‘Dark Omen MMO’ on Google in order to find it. If you type in Dark Omen on Google without MMO attached, you will be referred to an old PSOne video game instead.

Dark Omen Gameplay

You have to be a little patient getting the game to run because the game takes a long time to load up the first time you play it. This is the only annoying thing about playing browser-based games, but it should be accessible to most laptops and computers. You don’t need to have a beefy machine to play the game as the required specifications are minimal. That said; I still had some minor to major technical difficulties while playing this game. Even though the game was still playable, sometimes the graphics failed to load up on time and I couldn’t see the character models on the screen. It’s a weird glitch that occurs all of the time and it never went away during my playthroughs. If the game fails to load up for you, it’s best for you to close it and try something else to play.

Anyway, Dark Omen’s story is pretty cliché and straightforward. The world has been ruined by the darkness because demons and other monsters have been roaming the land. The Gods have somehow been lazy and abandoned humanity to get invaded by the demons. Now it’s up to your main character to step up and make a difference. The main character will have to save the land from the invading demon armies. There’s not much else to say regarding Dark Omen’s gameplay. The game plays like all of those other MMORPGs where everything is on autopilot. All you really need to do is press the quest marker and your character will do all of the work for you. They will walk to the right locations and hack and slash any enemy that they see.

Final Verdict for Dark Omen MMO

Although this game is very easy to play, I will not say that it’s entirely enjoyable most of the time. I always prefer playing rpg games free online with more active combat systems. I can get a little boring seeing everything is already done for the player. The only thing that caught my eye is the fact that there are lots to do in this game. If you are bored of tacking the mundane single player quests, you can then try to test your might in the PvP arena. PvP combat is way more fun, although you will want to match up with someone as the same skill as you! Dark Omen is a fun free to play browser game, although it isn’t the best one out there. It’s probably only worth playing if you have no other games to play and want to try something simple that doesn’t require a lot of concentration.
